Gary Abernathy and David Kuykendall won the 5th stop of the SC UpState Division on Lake Russell Sunday with five bass weighing 17.06 lbs. They took home a check for $900.00 for the win and added another $60.00 for 2nd big bass of the tournament at 5.44 lbs.
In second were Tommy Riddle and Shane Riddle with a five bass limit weighing 15.23 lbs. good for $600.00.
Taking third and the final money spot were Tommy Guthke and Jason Woodring with a 14.71 lb. limit.
Big bass of the tournament went to Richard Phillips and Jerry Perkins with a 7.47 lb. bass worth $150.00.
The next tournament for the SC UpState anglers is set for Lake Hartwell on 6.22 out of Broyle's Landing.
The 2008 NBC Championship will be heading to Kerr Lake, Henderson, NC on November 7-9, 2008.
